This Privacy Policy explains what information Reeve collects, how it’s used, and who it’s shared with.

1. Information we collect

Organizers: name, email, and password (stored securely by our authentication provider, never as plain text), plus any event details you create.
Attendees: name and email, plus phone number if you provide one, when you register for an event.
Payment information: for paid tickets, your payment is handled entirely by Paystack. Reeve never sees or stores your card number, expiry, or CVV.

2. How we use it

To create and deliver your event ticket, including the QR code used for check-in.
To send confirmation emails and, if an organizer sends one, event updates.
To let an event’s organizer see who has registered for and checked into their own event.
To operate, secure, and improve the platform itself.

3. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run Reeve, each only for its specific purpose:

Paystack: processes payments for paid tickets.
Resend: delivers confirmation and event-update emails.
Supabase: hosts our database, authentication, and file storage.

We don’t sell your data, and we don’t share attendee information with anyone beyond the organizer of the event you registered for and the service providers above.

4. Data retention

We keep event and registration data for as long as your account or the related event exists, so organizers retain a record of who attended their events. You can ask us to delete your data at any time. See below.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you by emailing support@reeve.app. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.

6. Cookies

Reeve uses a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in to your organizer account. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We’ll post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date.
