Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Reeve, a platform that lets organizers create events and sell tickets, and lets attendees discover and register for those events. By using Reeve, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Reeve is

Reeve provides the tools to create an event page, share it, collect RSVPs, accept payment for paid tickets, and check attendees in at the door. Reeve is not the organizer of any event listed on the platform. Each event is created and run by its own organizer, who is solely responsible for it.

2. Organizer accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an organizer account and keep your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for everything that happens under your account, including the accuracy of your event listings, honoring the terms you set (such as your stated refund policy), and delivering the event as described.

3. Attendee registration

Attendees can register for free or paid events without creating an account. Providing an accurate name and email (and phone, if you choose to add one) is required so tickets and event updates can reach you. Your ticket QR code is your proof of registration. Keep it accessible for check-in.

4. Payments

Paid tickets are processed by Paystack, a third-party payment provider. Reeve does not store your card details. Paystack’s own transaction fees apply and are set by Paystack, not Reeve. See our Refund Policy for how refunds work.

5. Prohibited use

  • Creating events for illegal activity, or events that are fraudulent or misleading.
  • Using another person’s payment details without authorization.
  • Attempting to interfere with or disrupt the platform’s normal operation.
  • Scraping or reselling attendee data collected through the platform.

6. Liability

Reeve is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep the platform reliable, but we’re not liable for losses arising from an organizer’s event being cancelled, changed, or run poorly. Those are between the organizer and their attendees. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the platform itself is limited to the fees, if any, Reeve charged for the transaction in question.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. Continued use of Reeve after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
